The Memphis Strange is a five-piece rock & roll band from Austin. Fronted by three singer/songwriters Johnny Dango, Doug Strahan and Todd Thompson, they swap songs of classic country, funk and Texas boogie. The Austin Chronicle said of them, “Dango, Strahan and Thompson make a dangerous combo…dark and gritty.”
Formed in 2009, they are celebrating their 10 year anniversary this year. Their second album, “Strange Seconds” was released in 2017.
